Winning Over the Job Gatekeeper

Job searching is a form of marketing. As with marketing a product, successful job search marketing requires using several different methods. When a company has a product to sell, it will often use a combination of advertising, public relations and direct sales (i.e. cold calling). These categories can be loosely correlated with categories in job searching.
